These Western Tiger Swallowtails always remind me of sails on a boat when they pose like this on the flowers in my garden. They float around the yard barely having to move their wings to do so which makes it look like they are sailing through the air. They have about a 4" wingspan so it's hard to miss them . And they are so colorful, especially when you get up close and even more so when you paint them! This one alit upon a pink Zinnia in my garden and stayed there long enough for several photos to pick one to work from. Sold unframed with a display stand included.
