We spent a day in Bayou La Batre, Alabama, looking at all the Shrimp boats on the Bayou on either side of the draw bridge . We explored all the little back roads that lead to the river as you would find them on the little inlets, around the bend etc., not all in one place. We also had a great lunch at the Catalina Seafood Restaurant and spotted an old Russian Submarine, now on wheels, on the lawn of the Maritime Museum , a couple of old riverboats who have seen better days and the beautiful Gulf on a sunny day. A great way to spend a beautiful day on the Bayou.
