This is the oldest of the Storybook Castles in Fairhope, AL.  it was built in 1946 by Craig Sheldon who was a sculptor, writer and WW ll Marine. I love the way it sits quietly amongst the trees and gardens. It's fairly unassuming , as castles go, but I think that enhances it's beauty.
