The first in a series of three minis I am painting. I think this is the smallest I've ever painted in oils. I am trying out some Artefex panels and have never painted on copper before.  The copper is a little slippery but not as slippery as smooth gesso boards , plus, where it slips you can see copper unlike seeing gesso board, which is a plus. It's tricky finding subject for such small pieces. You have to keep it simple but still interesting. A good sunset is always interesting to me.  Old unframed on a black metal easel stand.
